Amazing audio quality on this German release. Perhaps I just hit the jackpot.
This promo version of the record is, in my opinion, the best pressing you can find. The demo track "Cortez the Killer" on my 1A/1B matrix copy is absolutely mind-blowing, bursting out of the speakers with a mastertape quality that's just unbelievable! - Truly incredible!
I'm a tad puzzled about which editions come with the textured outer sleeve. Does this particular one? - I've spotted that the UK 1975 versions don't, nor do the UK reissues, but the American ones do...
Fantastic reissue, absolutely gorgeous, crisp and immersive... Italian pressings are so overlooked...
Fantastic mastering job here, but the vinyl used for this release seems a bit low-quality (perhaps it's been recycled a bunch??). There's a noticeable amount of background noise during the quiet parts between songs. That said, when the music starts, it sounds absolutely fantastic!
