  I concur, this repress is top-notch. I've been giving it a spin alongside the original and there's something not quite right. I reckon it's the digital format. The original just has a more organic feel. I'm holding onto both copies.

  Never before have I experienced Graceland's sound so pure as it is on this CD, it's absolutely phenomenal. The volume is just right, neither too loud nor too soft, and the details are impeccable with a wonderful flow to the music. It's one of the greatest albums out there and right up there with Paul Simon's masterpiece, Bookends.

  I've gotta join in on the praise here. This record is among the best sounding in my collection, right up there with the 2015 Grundman remaster of Brubeck's Time Out. The soundscapes are incredibly immersive and transportive, moving seamlessly from one track to the next. The clarity is fantastic—it's so clear that it might expose lesser musicians, but it doesn't betray Simon and his bandmates. It's astonishing to feel like you're in the studio with them, especially positioned between the percussion and bass sections, given their exceptional clarity and precision. Cheesy as it may sound, my only wish is for the chimes, bells, and other small flourishes to be a bit more prominent, to sparkle a little more in their brilliance. Like shooting stars in Simon's sound constellations. 5/5 from me.

  At $30 online, this reissue outshines the initial pressings. The soundstage feels broader, and there's a sparkle and clarity in the details that just pop more than on the original. Since this is my all-time favorite album, I couldn't resist spending a little to see if it'd impress me. I'm thrilled I did! The mastering is rich and full. The lows are deep, and the highs soar. It's an outstanding take on a classic album.
