Distorted and scratchy all the way through even after cleaning. The final track on side A is just unbearable.
Got a cleaning to cut down on the noise, and though it's still there, it's much less. It's a real bummer, 'cause the music's fantastic and it's worth a better pressing.
The audio quality is fantastic and this album is absolutely incredible! My version appears to be the same as this one, except it has ‘Made in the EU’ on the back cover and ‘Printed in the Czech Republic’ on the wrapping…
My version tends to be quite loud in the softer sections, even after giving it an ultrasonic clean. I'll attempt another clean to see if that helps. However, when the music is blasting, there's no detectable noise.
