Hey, I recently came across a copy of this album. The sticker's missing from the back, probably removed by someone before me. There's no lyric sheet, just the inner sleeve. The record itself looks great, labels are nice and bright. So, in this shape, what would you say it's worth?
I managed to snag a NM pressing of this album. This is hands down my top U2 release - it's so dark and gothic, with tons of tension and post punk basslines throughout! The guitar work is incredibly creative. Every little detail shines through so clearly. The soundstage is just enormous too! Plus, the record is mastered loud. Couldn't be happier with it!
U2's incredible debut album marks the start of the New Wave scene, though I wouldn't have labeled them as such back in '80 due to their political edge. Regardless, this record far surpasses expectations for a first-time release. Standout tracks include: I Will Follow/The Electric Co/Shadows and Tall Trees...and so on... If this isn't already in your collection and you're into this post-punk mod stuff...it's a must, in my opinion.
Amazing packaging (gorgeous poster, lyric sheet, poly lined inner sleeve), fantastic sound, stunning looks, super quiet pressing: Grab it!
Excellent record quality - this version is worth getting. Top-notch pressing of a timeless album.
